I think a lot of people do get confused with the definition of Yoga because they think it might be a religion or only for certain cultures. But that is not the case it is good for just about everyone. I think the confusion stems from the fact that Yoga is surrounded with a degree of mystery so many think it is too weird for them. But they should not feel that way because it is helpful and while it is spiritual to me, it may not be spiritual to the next person. It is what it is to each person and it can be incredibly personal.
The mind and body aspect of Yoga has really helped me when skateboarding. I use my skateboard as an extention of my body, by making myself more aware of my own body enables me to control my board better when I am in the air.
What is yoga?
I feel as though yoga is one of the best methods for bringing body and mind into harmony using meditation, physical postures, breathing, and exercise. It is very relaxing and forces you to focus.
Yoga is also a great discipline of stretching and toning the body through movements, breathing exercises, postures, relaxation techniques, and diet. After working out it always left me with a relaxed feeling and calmness throughout my body.
For me Yoga work in different way that I really didn’t know until now. I thought it was all abut meditation getting the mind right. But now taking this class Yoga has open my mind as well as body in a spirtual way.
Yoga has shown me more than I could have image. Not only it work on the outside of the body but the inside as well. From head to toes. Mind body and soul. I am a true believer on the spirtual and Yoga is 100% when it comes to working on the body and mind to get in shape.
Yoga is kind of like relaxing your mind to control your body movement.
Yoga is a spiritual mediation routine. It is where you control your breathing, focus of stretching your body, and flowing movements.
